Google continues to push the boundaries of AI innovation. Their latest? The Search Generative Experience (SGE) now lets users generate images directly from text prompts, stepping up the competition with Microsoft's Bing Chat.
Key Facts:
Googleâs SGE: Can now craft images directly from text inputs, leveraging their advanced Imagen family of AI models.
Responsible Rollout: Google emphasizes a careful and responsible deployment, ensuring that generated images adhere to their prohibited use policy.
Written Drafts Too: Alongside images, SGE will also be able to produce written drafts directly from search queries, which users can then export to Google Docs or Gmail.
Every image made with SGE will âhave metadata labeling and embedded watermarking to indicate that it was created by AI.
While Google has been at the forefront of AI for years, this update to their Search Generative Experience signals an exciting pivot towards more interactive and personalized user experiences.
As tech giants race to harness AI's vast potential, it's clear that the boundaries of search are being redefined.
