Good Morning from the Promptbox Team!
Happy Q4, where fortunes are made and lost in a blink of an eye.
The market manipulators makers have smiled down upon us, causing a massive price upswing over the weekend in the crypto markets.
Remember that while October has been historically green, November and December seem to disappoint as whales sell off for tax harvesting.
This means that if you're going to play, play early and get out before the end of the year.

Bitcoin, often criticized for its energy-intensive mining, is now getting outpaced in the debate. (Kevin’s note: this is more because institutions are getting ready to launch Bitcoin Spot ETFs, so they have to erase the 'energy doomsday' narrative they, themselves created).
With its uptick in use and power consumption, AI is becoming the new ‘ecological nightmare.’
Bitcoin Versus AI Energy Use
While Bitcoin has historically been criticized for its energy consumption, AI is emerging as an even more significant consumer.
The move towards renewable energy in Bitcoin mining has spotlighted AI's energy use further.
AI's Rising Energy Consumption
AI, expected to impact society like the internet did, demands vast energy resources.
Brian Gitt stressed that a single Nvidia GPU chip's energy consumption matches that of an average US household.
Nvidia GPUs could soon surpass the energy capacity of all upcoming US data center expansions.
The world is actually headed for a really bad energy crisis because of AI unless we fix a few things
Energy Equivalence in Everyday Terms
Daily queries on ChatGPT might consume energy equivalent to 33,000 US homes.
Sajjad Moazeni pointed out that AI tasks can be up to 100 times more energy-hungry than basic activities like checking emails.
While the surge in AI's energy demands is undeniable, it's important not to have an emotional response.
In its constant quest for clicks, the media often magnifies certain 'facts' to an alarming degree.
Just as with previous' tech doomsday' narratives, there is a motive behind a narrative shift such as this.
Who gains if AI is regulated and only allowed to be used by enterprise or wealthy clients? hmmm
Check out the full story below.
The Question: As the headlines now shift from crypto to AI being the source of an energy crisis is this just another media-meltdown or an actual concern?
