In an unexpected turn of events, French antitrust authorities launched a probe into graphics chip heavyweight NVIDIA, over allegations of anti-competitive practices.

Local Reports Confirm: Local media confirms that NVIDIA was raided but also highlighted that boxes and evidence were being removed.
American companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google 'are capable of hindering the development of competition' in the cloud market
Bigger Picture
A raid of this size doesnât happen overnight. Itâs linked to a more comprehensive probe into the cloud industry's operations.
Earlier in June, concerns were voiced over players like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, possibly curbing competitive growth in the cloud domain.
The concern was warranted by data revealing these three tech giants cornering a whopping 80% of the increase in public cloud spending in France in 2021.
This doesnât look good for Nvidia - but nothing paying a couple of fines wonât solve.
Check out the full story below.
The Question: With NVIDIA's dominance in both the graphics chip and AI sectors, do you believe their practices promote healthy competition, or do they overshadow potential emerging innovators?
