Good Morning from the Promptbox Team!
We’re flying through this week.
There’s a swing at the moment pushing back on AI as Mr. Beast and Tom Hanks get deepfaked on ads, and Facebook’s new AI tool lets people create … ‘boob’ stickers.
Issues such as these will become talking points on why continued and additional regulation is needed. But in the meantime, I have some stickers to make.
Also, our CTR (click-through rate) has been down the last couple of days … click on something, will ya?
Happy Wednesday. Let's get it.

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, has highlighted the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence, suggesting it could lead to significantly reduced workweeks and extended lifespans.
Here’s the breakdown:
AI's Impact on Work and Health:
AI has the capability to cut down the work week to just 3.5 days.
The tech can also play a pivotal role in treating diseases, potentially boosting life expectancy to 100 years.
AI's potential is not just theoretical; it's "real" and "living," capable of replacing humans across various sectors.
Technology has done unbelievable things for mankind but, you know, planes crash, pharmaceuticals get misused — there are negatives. This one, the biggest negative in my view is AI being used by bad people to do bad things.
Dimon's Views on AI and JPMorgan:
Dimon predicts that children will live healthier, longer lives without the threat of diseases like cancer.
JPMorgan Chase is already integrating AI into its operations, with many employees leveraging the technology to manage their tasks.
For Dimon, AI is not just a passing trend but a "critical" component for the bank's future, aiding in customer engagement, risk management, and productivity boosts.

While Dimon paints a promising picture of AI's capabilities, from cutting down workdays to advancing healthcare, he doesn't shy away from acknowledging its potential downsides.
He emphasizes that, like all technologies, AI has its pitfalls.
Yet, on balance, he believes that AI will play a monumental role in improving the quality of life for many.
Check out the full story below.
The Question: If AI could reduce your workweek to 3.5 days, would you openly embrace it, knowing of the potential dangers of integrating it into every facet of your life?
Kevin’s answer: Yep.

DEEPFAKE
Mr. Beast calls out TikTok for allowing a deepfake version of him in an ad.
TikTok ran an advertisement featuring an AI-generated deepfake version of MrBeast claiming to give out iPhone 15s for $2 as part of a 10,000 phone giveaway.
IMBALANCE
Female-founded AI startups win just 2% of funding deals in UK.
In the last year, investment in AI software has grown considerably. A report by Goldman Sachs predicts that AI investment will approach $200bn (£166bn) globally by 2025. However, when female-founded companies secured funding, they raise on average £1.3m a deal compared with £8.6m raised by all-male founder teams.
LEWD
Facebook’s new AI-generated stickers are lewd, rude, and occasionally nude.
Some Facebook Messenger users have found the feature can generate inappropriate images, including child soldiers, nude politicians, and lots and lots of boobs.
HOMELESSNESS
Los Angeles is using AI to predict who might become homeless and help before they do.
Los Angeles is housing more people than ever, and building lots more low-income housing, yet it can't keep pace with this ever-rising number of people who end up in cars, tents and shelters. That’s where AI comes in.
LOBBY
Dozens of newspaper, digital and magazine news executives descended on Capitol Hill last week to lobby members of Congress on copyright protections for their work.
Newspaper leaders can be hesitant to lobby directly, given that many of their outlets give political endorsements. But the threat of AI, combined with competition concerns around Big Tech, is pushing executives to band together and speak out.
